2011 NEC Adoption and Technical Advisory Committee Suspended

The Governor's Executive Order 10-06 limits the department to implementing rules required by the 2010 legislative session. The adoption of the 2011 NEC, current revision proposals collected during 2010, and the Technical Advisory Committee have all been suspended.

Rule development activity cannot resume until January 1, 2012, and usually takes 9-10 months to complete.

New fees were effective October 1, 2010 and are available on L&I's web site.
