In order to renew your license, the Oklahoma Construction Industries Board requires that you complete 6 hours of continuing education. The renewal deadline in Oklahoma is the last day of the licensee's birth month, every year.

State Notification Procedure:
When you finish the course we will mail you a certificate of completion and report your CE hours to the Oklahoma Construction Industries Board. We notify the Oklahoma Construction Industries Board of your hours every business day via fax.
For a fee of $25 per course, OK Approved classes can be reciprocated to other states with similar course requirements. If you have licenses in multiple states, please call 1-800-443-5233 or email registrar@jadelearning.com to set up a CE plan.

| How do I renew my license? | Step 1. Complete your continuing education hours (6). Step 2. Wait for your hours to be posted with the Board. Step 3. Submit your renewal form and required fee to Oklahoma Construction Industries Board. | |
| What if I don't renew my license? | "Any license which remains expired for longer than one (1) year shall not be renewed. The former license holder shall be required to make an initial application and retest to obtain the license formerly held." | |
| Why should I renew my license? | You will have to re-test. "(b) Application fees. Before an application will be considered, a person applying for an electrical journeyman license by reciprocity must pay an application and licensing fee of $ 75. If the person is applying for an electrical contractor license, the person must pay an application and licensing fee of $300. These fees shall not be refundable under any circumstances." | |
