In order to renew your license, the Wisconsin Department of Commerce Safety & Buildings Division requires that you complete 24 hours of continuing education (for J, M, CEI, and UDC). The renewal deadline in Wisconsin is J, M, UDC, CEI: CE due by March 30th, license renewal June 30th, every 4 years. DCQ: Before the expiration date, every 2 years..
When you finish the course we will mail you a certificate of completion and report your CE hours to the Wisconsin Department of Commerce Safety & Buildings Division. We notify the Wisconsin Department of Commerce Safety & Buildings Division of your hours every business day electronically.
For a fee of $25 per course, WI approved classes can be reciprocated to other states with similar requirements.
