In order to renew your license, the New Mexico Construction Industries Board requires that you complete 16 hours of continuing education; 8 hours must be on the current National Electric Code. The renewal deadline in New Mexico is the last day of the month of the anniversary of the license issue date, every three years.
When you finish the course we will mail you a certificate of completion and report your CE hours to the New Mexico Construction Industries Board. We notify the New Mexico Construction Industries Board of your hours every business day via email; licensee must also include certificate with renewal form.
For a fee of $25 per course, NM approved classes can be reciprocated to other states with similar requirements.
