Attention: Licenses may be renewed for one (1) year in the last year of an NEC cycle (2010), two (2) years n the second year of an NEC cycle, or three (3) years in the first year of an NEC cycle.
In order to renew your license, the Arkansas Board of Electrical Examiners requires that you complete 8 hours of continuing education relating to the National Electric Code.
*All individuals whose license expires before December 31, 2008 must have 8 hours of continuing education credit on the 2005 NEC. CE credits on the 2008 NEC are required for individuals whose license expires between January 1, 2009 and December 31, 2010. The renewal deadline in Arkansas is before license expiration date, every one, two or three years.

When you finish the course we will mail you a certificate of completion and report your CE hours to the Arkansas Board of Electrical Examiners. We notify the Arkansas Board of Electrical Examiners of your hours every Friday via mail.
For a fee of $25 per course, AR approved classes can be reciprocated to other states with similar requirements.
