In order to renew your license, the North Carolina Code Officials Qualifications Board requires that you complete 6 hours of continuing education. The renewal deadline in North Carolina is July 1st, every year.
When you finish the course we will mail you a certificate of completion and report your CE hours to the North Carolina Code Officials Qualifications Board. We notify the North Carolina Code Officials Qualifications Board of your hours every business day via fax.
For a fee of $25 per course, NC approved classes can be reciprocated to other states with similar requirements.
