In order to renew your license, the North Carolina Alarm Systems Licensing Board requires that you complete 6 hours of continuing education. The renewal deadline in North Carolina is the last day of the month of the anniversary of the license issue date, every two years.
When you finish the course we will mail you a certificate of completion and report your CE hours to the North Carolina Alarm Systems Licensing Board. We notify the North Carolina Alarm Systems Licensing Board of your hours every business day via mail; licensee must also include attendance certificate with renewal form.
The NC Alarm Board requires you to send the signed attendance roster when you renew your license.
For a fee of $25 per course, NC approved classes can be reciprocated to other states with similar requirements.
