In order to renew your license, the Michigan Department of Energy, Labor & Economic Growth Electrical Division requires that you complete Master, Journey, Fire Alarm Specialty Technician License require 15 hour Code Course. Sign Specialist License requires 8 hour Code Course. The renewal deadline in Michigan is December 31st, every three years.
When you finish the course we will mail you a certificate of completion and report your CE hours to the Michigan Department of Energy, Labor & Economic Growth Electrical Division. We notify the Michigan Department of Energy, Labor & Economic Growth Electrical Division of your hours every business day via mail.
For a fee of $25 per course, MI approved classes can be reciprocated to other states with similar requirements.
