In order to renew your license, the Alaska Division of Labor Standards and Safety, Mechanical Inspection requires that you complete 16 hours of continuing education; 8 hours must be on the current National Electric Code. The renewal deadline in Alaska is July 31st, every two years.
The Alaska Division of Labor Standards and Safety, Mechanical Inspection has asked us not to send completion rosters. When you finish the course we will mail you a certificate of completion which you can include with your license renewal form.
For a fee of $25 per course, AK approved classes can be reciprocated to other states with similar requirements.
